The Husdal (Norwegian for house valley ) is a short valley on the north coast of South Georgia . It is west-southwest of the head end of Husvik Harbor .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the valley in 1991 based on the name of Husvik Harbor and the Husvik whaling station located there .
