Huseby Leir
Huseby Leir is a barracks of the Norwegian Army and garrison of the Hans Majestet Kongens Garde ( Royal Norwegian Life Guard ).
The base is located on a former farm near Oslo that was bought by the Norwegian government in the late 19th century. Due to massive construction defects (moisture damage and mold), the facility had to be completely renovated from 2002 to 2005.
In the barracks, the companies stationed there have parade grounds , a roofed shooting range , a dining room , an armory and a clothing store .
