biography

The band was originally formed by Franck, Cyrille, Wilfried and Olivier as "The Likyds". The members were all from Perpignan and mostly played covers of garage rock songs from the sixties. Due to Olivier Jourdan's move to Paris, the band initially broke up.

However, since the other members also moved to Paris, the band was re-established as HushPuppies in Paris in 2002 with the newly added bassist Guillaume Le Guen. After the self-produced demos and EPs in 2003 and 2004, the group received a record deal with Diamondtraxx in early 2004.

In June 2005 her debut album "The Trap" was released with the singles "Single" and "You're Gonna Say Yeah", which was sold over 20,000 times. With this album in their luggage, the band played over 100 concerts all over Europe, as well as in Russia and Japan.

At the end of 2007 the second album "Silence is Golden" was released. Previously, "Bad Taste and Gold On The Doors" was released as a single.
