The Hwaseok Hill is a 109 m high hill on King George Iceland in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises at the southern end of the Barton Peninsula on Maxwell Bay .
South Korean scientists named it after the plant fossils from the Cenozoic era found here .
