Hydroabrasion
Under Hydroabrasion is meant a wear of a surface due to a liquid flow in which the solids are entrained. Hydroabrasion occurs, for example, in hydraulic engineering , in pumps that convey suspensions , or when stirring fluids containing solids . It can also lead to the erosion of agricultural soils or their nutrients, for example when heavy rainfall occurs.
