The journal Hydrologie und Wasserbewirtschaftung (HyWa) is published by the Federal Institute for Hydrology in Koblenz. The topics of the posts are:

The quality of the contributions is guaranteed through peer review . The journal is listed in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) , Journal Citation Reports / Science Edition and in Scopus . It is also available as an online version and has been published under this name since 1999 (year 43) as the successor to the "German hydrological information" (DGM) ( ISSN 0012-0235 ) , which appeared in 42 years from 1957 to 1998 . The target group were originally the federal and state administrations.
