Strandby is a Danish town with 265 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020) in western Himmerland . The village has been part of the Vesthimmerlands Municipality in the Nordjylland region since the 2007 municipal reform . Before that she was part of the Farsø municipality in the North Jutland department .
Strandby is two kilometers southeast of Ertebølle and about nine kilometers west of Farsø . The Risgårde Bredning , a 20 km 2 large waters in the fjord north of Hvalpsund , located a few blocks west.
