Hyeokgeose (* 69 BC ; † 4 AD) was the founder of the Silla dynasty . His full name is Bak Hyeokgeose Geoseogan (박 혁거세 거서간 [pak hjəkkʼəse kəsəgan] ), where Bak is a family name, Hyeokgeose first name and Geoseogan . The only source about him is the Chronicle of the Three Kingdoms (삼국사기 [samk'uks'agi] ).
