Hyperion (supercluster)

Hyperion is the name of a probably about 2.3 billion years after the Big Bang created super clusters of galaxies .

discovery

Hyperion was discovered by a team of researchers from the National Institute for Astrophysics (Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica INAF) in Bologna under the direction of Olga Cucciati. The researchers were "surprised by the discovery of such a huge object in the early universe ".
