Richard Graupner

Richard Graupner (born March 6, 1963 in Kiel ) is a German police officer and politician of the AfD . He is a member of the Bavarian state parliament and deputy chairman of his parliamentary group.

Life

Graupner works as a police chief inspector in Bavaria . He has been a member of the Bavarian AfD since 2016 . Graupner was previously a member of the party The Republicans and represented for this party on the city council of Schweinfurt . In the Bavarian state elections in 2018 , Graupner ran as a constituency member in the Schweinfurt constituency and on list position 2 of the AfD in Lower Franconia . Graupner moved into the Bavarian state parliament as a member of parliament. He lives in Schweinfurt. Graupner is also a member of the committee for municipal issues, internal security and sport in the Bavarian state parliament.

Positions

In spring 2019 Graupner took part in an event of the wing with Björn Höcke in Gerding. There requested u. a. AfD state board member Benjamin Nolte, the AfD should throw its "incompatibility list" on the "garbage heap of party history", because the party also needs ex-NPD people for its "freedom fight". The Lower Bavarian AfD member of the state parliament, Ralf Stadler, distanced himself from the wing after the event, but Graupner saw no reason for this. He told the Mainpost at the end of May 2019 that he would remain a “sympathizer” of the right-wing extremist camp in the AfD and that he had “no problem” with Björn Höcke.
