Hypopigmentation
As hypopigmentation or depigmentation refers to a symptom that by a reduced number of melanocytes or decreased formation of the pigment melanin is characterized. Hypopigmentation can be congenital or acquired. They mainly affect the skin , hair and iris . In dermatology they belong to the secondary fluorescences . They can be evenly (diffusely) distributed or in circumscribed places (circumscribed).
