Hyundai Automobili Italia Importazioni SpA was the general importer for vehicles of the South Korean car brand Hyundai to Italy from 1990 to 2008 . The company was founded in 1990 and was headquartered in Milan .

The company was a member of the Gruppo Koelliker , which specializes in importing and selling vehicles from the Far East. For logistics and warehousing, HAII relied on other subsidiaries of the Gruppo Koelliker; the import was also transferred to Hyundai itself in 1997. For 2001 a turnover of more than 469 million euros was reported.

On October 27, 2008, the company was taken over by Hyundai and replaced by today's Hyundai Motor Company Italy SpA . In total, HAII sold around 500,000 vehicles in almost 19 years.
