Instituto Nacional de Denominaciones de Origen

The Instituto Nacional de Denominaciones de Origen (INDO) is a Spanish organization that oversees the Spanish Wine Law . Specifically, the provisions are implemented by the local supervisory authorities Consejo Regulador . The first Consejo Regulador was set up in Rioja in 1926 , the next were Jerez , Málaga and Penedès .
