The IBB Institute for Vocational Training AG is a German training provider that the vocational training is specialized. It has around seventy locations nationwide. Participation in the educational offers via the IBB's Virtual Online Academy (VIONA) is possible at 350 locations of cooperation partners (as of April 2019). The courses are certified according to AZAV . The company is a certified training partner of SAP , DATEV , Oracle , Allplan , DIN and CGM MEDISTAR , among others .

Company history

The Institute for Vocational Education and Training was founded in 1985 by Sigrid Baumann-Tornow in Buxtehude, where the company's head office is still located today. In 1996 the IBB was certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001. In 2003, the subsidiary akademie facultas was founded, in which assistants for elderly care are trained. In 2007 the IBB introduced the Virtual Online Academy VIONA. In 2009 the IBB GmbH was converted into the Aktiengesellschaft IBB AG. The AbendAkademie started in 2011 with part-time educational offers. In 2013 the Business Academy was added (at that time under the name “business line”), which offers seminars for corporate customers. In 2018 and 2019, the company was named "Best Institute for Vocational Education" as part of the DEUTSCHLAND TESTS by Focus Money.
