Allplan is a BIM / CAD program from Allplan GmbH, a subsidiary of Nemetschek SE , for architects, civil engineers and construction workers. Allplan has been available since 1984. The software is available in 20 languages and is used by over 240,000 users.
Functions
The Allplan CAD system supports 2D construction, 3D modeling and component-oriented building models with quantity and cost calculation ( 4D BIM ).
Allplan has interfaces to the CINEMA 4D visualization software and to traditional exchange formats (including DXF , DWG, DGN) and supports the IFC and PDF formats (also PDF / A and 3D PDF ). Import and export to SketchUp and Rhino is also possible. Exchange formats such as STL for rapid prototyping and the bidirectional exchange for Google SketchUp and Google Earth are also supported.
The Allplan Connect online portal has existed since 2011, offering functions such as user forums, download libraries, training opportunities, technical support, and software updates and upgrades. The open cloud platform Bimplus has also been offered since 2014 .
Customers include the architectural offices Wörner Traxler Richter , Vollack , and the engineering offices Witteveen + Bos , Krebs + Kiefer , Schlaich Bergermann Partner and Emch + Berger .
