Controversy

Since 2014 the ICTV broadcaster has been criticized for broadcasting Russian series. According to the monitoring results of the "Boycott Russian Films" campaign in September, the channel broadcast Russian content for 7 hours and 40 minutes a day. At the end of the month, the portion of Russian origin took up 43 percent of the total airtime. According to activists, ICTV also shows most of the series about Russian law enforcement agencies and the army.
