ILMI

The Interim or Integrated Local Management Interface ( ILMI ) is used in ATM management. It is a protocol or an interface for the local control and administration of ATM devices and switches .

The ILMI is a protocol defined by the ATM Forum for setting and collecting parameters on the ATM interface (for example parameters relating to the physical, ATM layer or the virtual path / virtual circuit (VPI / VCI)). ILMI uses SNMP packets without UDP and IP headers for this .
