IMEX (full name IMEX - i ncorporating M eetings made in Germany - The Worldwide Ex hibition for incentive travel, meetings and events ) is a trade fair for the tourism and event industry that takes place every year in May in Frankfurt am Main and in October as IMEX America takes place in Las Vegas .

The main topics of the fair are meeting and incentive trips . The IMEX organization team is based in Brighton . National and regional congress centers, event and event agencies, wellness hotels, golf resorts, car rental companies and representatives of the trade press present their content.

In 2011 there were 3,500 exhibitors from 157 countries, e.g. B. international tourism offices, hotel groups, airlines, tour operators, service providers and industry associations. In 2011 the fair was visited by around 9,000 interested parties.
