The 2nd European Powerchair Hockey Championship was held from July 8th to 16th, 2008 in Belgium . The games took place in Maasmechelen .

The title of European champion in powerchair hockey was won for the second time by the Netherlands , which defeated Germany in the final . Bronze went to Italy . For the first time Switzerland took part in a major tournament and finished last with 5 defeats.
