The ISE Group consists of the companies ISE Automotive GmbH and the Automotive Group ISE Industries Hainichen GmbH . Your main location is Bergneustadt . ISE currently employs over 5,400 people worldwide; including over 4,000 in Germany. The companies of the ISE Group are automotive suppliers with core competencies in the development and production of innovative structural, protection and cladding systems for the automobile.

Cabriolet-specific systems, chassis components for the front and rear, transmission modules, body components, plastic systems for the interior and exterior as well as hinge systems are developed and produced.

history

  • 1930: Foundation of the company Dr. Hermann E. Muller
  • 1955: Original equipment supplier for the European automotive industry
  • 1956: Use of the largest European electroplating plant
  • 1969: Conversion into a subsidiary of Alfred Teves GmbH, Frankfurt, which has been part of ITT Automotive Europe GmbH since 1967
  • 1993: Alfred Teves GmbH merged with ITT Automotive Europe GmbH; Start of production of front ends
  • 1997: Spin- off of the Bergneustadt plant into ISE Innomotive Systems Europe GmbH ; Sale in the management buy-out process (MBO) to the managers at the time, including Gerd Rosendahl
  • 2001: Takeover of the entire Lunke Ventra Automotive group - consisting of the plants in Witten, Duisburg, Hainichen, Chocianów (Poland) and Shanghai (investment) - by the five shareholders of ISE Innomotive Systems Europe GmbH
  • July 1, 2001: Foundation of ISE Industries GmbH
  • 2004: Takeover of IBS Brocke - consisting of the plants / locations Morsbach-Lichtenberg, Schwelm and Waldbröl - by the five shareholders of ISE Innomotive Systems Europe GmbH and ISE Industries GmbH; Change of name since October 1st, 2004 under ISE INTEX GmbH
  • November 22nd, 2006: The Automotive Group ISE INTEX GmbH, Morsbach and the Automotive Group ISE INTEX Beteiligungs-GmbH, Bergneustadt apply to open insolvency proceedings. All other companies of the ISE Group are not affected (Bonn District Court, AZ 95 IN 118/06 and 95 IN 119/06).
  • January 22, 2007: Automotive Group ISE Innomotive Systems Europe GmbH and Automotive Group ISE Industries GmbH have filed for insolvency proceedings. The locations in Bergneustadt, Witten and Duisburg are affected, but not the Automotive Group ISE Industries Hainichen GmbH in Hainichen and the foreign companies.
  • June 1, 2008: Major assets of the Automotive Group ISE Innomotive Systems Europe GmbH and Automotive Group ISE Industries GmbH are taken over by the Munich-based financial investor Nordwind Capital .
  • February 2013: Sale to the Mexican company Metalsa. The Duisburg site is to be closed. The closings are expected to be completed by October 2013.
