Jamie Thomas (born October 11, 1974 in Dothan , Alabama ) is an American professional skateboarder .

Career

Thomas was the beginning of the 1990s to the Street skateboarder and joined in 1995 the Toy Machine -Skateteam of Ed Templeton on. Thomas became particularly popular with his Melon grave over the so-called Leap of Faith , one of the world's highest and most difficult skateboard gaps in the world. Thomas also appeared in numerous skateboarding videos, including Welcome to Hell , Thrill of It All , Dying to Live , Reason to Believe and Ride the Sky . He built up the Zero Skateboards company and is the owner of Zero Wheels , Fallen Footwear and Thunder Trucks .

Thomas was named "Entrepreneur of the Year" by Ernst & Young in 2006.

Graham Coxon (co-founder and lead guitarist of the British band Blur ) dedicated the song Jamie Thomas to him , the opener of his solo album Golden D (2000).
