The IWK Verpackungstechnik GmbH in Stutensee is a manufacturer of packaging machines. It specializes in the production and sale of tube filling machines, cartoning machines and complete packaging lines.

history

The origins of the company go back to the year 1893, when the cartridge factory Henri Ehrmann & Cie expanded the existing production program with semi-automatic machines for filling tubes. In 1928 the industrial family Quandt took over the company and relocated the production of the machines for mass packaging (MfM) to Karlsruhe . This resulted in the Industriewerke Karlsruhe Aktiengesellschaft (IWK AG) in 1949. In 1970 IWK AG and KUKA GmbH merged to form Industriewerke Karlsruhe Augsburg AG .

In 2007 the packaging division of IWKA AG was taken over by the investor Odewald & Cie .
