I made Mangku Pastika
I Made Mangku Pastika (born June 22, 1951 in Buleleng , Bali , Indonesia ) is an Indonesian politician. The former head of the Balinese Police and the Indonesian National Narcotics Board was the governor of Bali Province from 2008 to 2018 . He is considered a promoter of sustainable tourism in Bali.
Pastika, a member of the Partai Demokrasi Indonesia - Perjuangan (PDI-P) , received 55.04% of the valid votes in the 2008 provincial elections, according to the Balinese Electoral Commission (Komisi Pemilihan Umum Bali) on July 16, 2008. On August 28, 2008, he was sworn in for the 2008 to 2013 term of office, replacing his predecessor Dewa Beratha .
Honors
In October 2003 he was awarded the Order of Australia (Officer of the Order, AO) for his services in investigating the terrorist attack of October 12, 2002 . Pastika was the chief Balinese investigator at the time.
