I Mother Earth is a Canadian alternative rock band.
history
The band was founded in 1990 in Toronto by the brothers Chris and Jagori Tanna with singer Edwin and bassist Bruce Gordon. After signing a record deal with Capitol Records , she released her first album, Dig , in 1993 , which went platinum in his home country. For the second album Scenery and Fish , in addition to percussionists Luis Conte and Daniel Mansilla and keyboardist Ken Pearson , Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson could also be won over for a guest performance. The third album from 1999, Blue Green Orange , was followed by Earth, Sky, and Everything in Between, a record with acoustic remixes and live pieces. After the band took a break from 2004, they announced a reunion in January 2012 after an eight-year hiatus.
