After Lefeber's exit from Deutschland sucht den Superstar , Achim Oppermann and Lars Jacobsen wrote the lyrics for the piece. Was composed I Will Follow You by Florian Richter.

The song was released in August 2003 as Lefebers first single in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and in October on their debut album In My Dreams . The song The Way You Look at Me can be heard as the B-side on the single .

Chart placements

In Switzerland the song rose to number 61 and stayed in the charts for three weeks. In Germany , the track made it to position 13 in the singles charts and stayed there for ten weeks.
