Ian Ward (athlete)
Ian Ward (born February 24, 1929 ) is a retired British pole vaulter .
In 1958 he finished fifth for England at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff .
In 1956 and 1957 he was English champion. He set his personal best of 4.20 m in 1960.
