Iban Mayoz
Iban Mayoz Etxeberria (born September 30, 1981 in San Sebastián , Spain ) is a former Basque cyclist .
He started his career at Relax-Fuenlabrada in 2004 . For the 2006 season he moved to the Basque UCI ProTeam Euskaltel-Euskadi . Mayoz did five Grand Tours , three of which he completed. His best Grand Tour placement was 22nd place at the Giro d'Italia 2010 . At the end of the season in which he ended his career after the 2010 season.
He is not to be confused with the much better known Iban Mayo Diez , who was also under contract with Euskaltel until the end of the 2006 season.
