Ibertren
Ibertren is the brand name of today's Spanish model railway manufacturer Ibertren Modelismo, SL based in Barcelona .
Under this brand name, the main focus is on producing vehicle models based on Spanish models in nominal size H0 , on a scale of 1:87, and in nominal size N , on a scale of 1: 160.
history
In 1973, the then Model Iber SA launched the first vehicle model under the Ibertren brand. In 1992 the company at that time had to stop its business activities.
In 2004 the brand name Ibertren was reintroduced. Since then, the Barcelona-based company Ibertren Modelismo SL has been producing model trains for H0 gauge again.
Trivia
In the early days of the production of model railways for the N gauge, a separate central conductor track system with the corresponding locomotives was produced. It was only later that the common two-rail track system was used.
