Ibrahim Chabbouh

Ibrahim Chabbouh ( Arabic ابراهيم شبوح/ Ibrāhīm Šabbūḥ) has been the General Director of the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought in Jordan since 1999 . He is co-founder of the Association for the Care of the City of Qairawān in Tunisia . Between 1987 and 1992 he was the general director of the Tunisian National Library in Tunis .

He was one of the 138 signatories of the open letter a common word between us and you ( Engl. A Common Word Between Us and You ), the personalities of Islam to "leaders of Christian churches everywhere" (Engl. "Leaders of Christian Churches, everywhere ... “) (October 13, 2007).
