Ibrahim Kaya

Ibrahim Kaya (born September 8, 1966 in Divriği , Turkey ) is a German architect and writer .

Life

Kaya, who has lived in Augsburg since the early 1970s , has been writing poetry and prose since he was twelve. From 1983 publications followed, both in Turkish-language magazines and in German. Together with the writer and experimental musician Gerald Fiebig , he wrote the intercultural long poem Zweistromland (2001/2003), which the two authors sometimes perform as a text-sound collage. Kaya and Fiebig had previously worked together for the literary magazine Zeitriss (1991–2001).
