If Anger Were Soul, I'd Be James Brown is the third and final studio album by Tender Fury . Compared to the previous album Garden Of Evil , two line-up changes were made, so that Tender Fury at that time consisted mainly of punk rock musicians . This can also be clearly seen on this album. While the predecessors were still in the hard rock genre, If Anger Were Soul, I'd Be James Brown has become a punk album. The style is very similar to The Joykiller , the band Jack Grisham formed after Tender Fury ended.
