Igor Fyodorovich Maslennikov
Igor Fjodorowitsch Maslennikow ( Russian И́горь Фёдорович Ма́сленников ; born October 26, 1931 in Gorki , Soviet Union ) is a Soviet-Russian film director , screenwriter and film producer .
Life
Igor Maslennikov graduated from the Faculty of Journalism at the Leningrad State University in 1954 , later he worked for Leningrad Television.
In 1967 he completed the advanced directing course at the Lenfilm film studio . His debut as a director was the film Lychnaya Schisn Kusjajewa Valentina ( Личная жизнь Кузяева Валентина ) . Igor Maslennikov became particularly famous for the television films The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson and winter cherries .
He was president of Troitski Most, a Saint Petersburg company, for twenty years .
