Ihlamurlar altinda ( Turkish for "under Linden") is a Turkish television series directed by Aydın Bulut , which by 2007 from 2005 in the Turkish channel Kanal D ran. It was one of the most watched series in Turkey at this time. The script was written by Nilgün Öneş, Neslihan Eyüboğlu and Ayşe Teker.
The main characters in the series are Yılmaz ( Bülent İnal ) and Filiz ( Tuba Büyüküstün ). The television series is not only romantic and sad, but also offers adventure and drama.
Ihlamurlar Altında is also available in English dubbing . In Australia, the series was broadcast by the Australian television station Vizyon. An Arabic dubbed version bears the name Sanawat al-Daya ( Arabic سنوات الضياع, "Lost Years"), which was shown by the Arab TV broadcaster MBC .
