Tuba Büyüküstün

Hatice Tuba Büyüküstün (born July 5, 1982 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish actress .

Life

Büyüküstun's parents come from Erzurum . She studied costume design and stage decoration at the Mimar Sinan University .

During her studies she appeared in various commercials . She was supervised by the director and producer Tomris Giritlioğlu . After graduating, she appeared in the last four episodes of Sultan Makamı and began her acting career. In 2004 she played the role of Zarif in the series Cemberimde Gül Oya by Çağan Irmak . In the same year she played the main character Gülizar in the film Gülizar by Cemal San.

From 2005 to 2007 she played the role of Filiz Tekiner in the series Ihlamurlar Altında alongside Bülent İnal and Sinan Tuzcu. A year later she appeared as Zeynep Erez in the movie Sınav , which was produced by Ömer Faruk Sorak. Here she had the opportunity to perform with Jean-Claude Van Damme . In the years from 2007 to 2009 she played the role of Asiye Kozcuoğlu in the series Asi alongside Çetin Tekindor and Murat Yıldırım . The series was produced by Cevdet Mercan.

In 2010 she starred in the movie Yüreğine Sor with Kenan Ece, which was produced by Yusuf Kurcenli. From 2010 to 2011 she played one of the leading roles in the series Gönülcelen . After a 1.5 year hiatus, she played the role of Melek Halaskar in the series 20 Dakika (20 minutes) by Ali Bilgin. In 2014 she took on a lead role, Elif Denizer , in the series "Kara Para Ask". The series has been running on Aktüel Televizyonu since March 12th . Since 2016 she has been part of "Cesur ve Güzel".

Büyüküstün married the Turkish actor Onur Saylak in 2011 and had taken a baby break after the birth of their twins Toprak and Maya .
