Ilan Duran Cohen (* 1963 in Rehovot , Israel ) is a French film director , screenwriter , film producer and writer .

Life

Born in Israel, Ilan Duran Cohen lived in Paris until 1985 . He was accepted at the New York Film School , made two short films and directed the 1991 comedy Lola - Jung und Wild . Then he withdrew and concentrated on writing. His first two novels appeared in 1997 with Chronique alicienne and in 1999 with Le Fils de la sardine . Then he was able to direct his second feature film Man Loves It Draw in 2000 , with Pascal Greggory , Nathalie Richard and Cyrille Thouvenin in the leading roles.
