Ilia Trilling
Ilia Trilling (also Ilya Trilling ; * 1895 in Elberfeld ; † 1947 ) was a German - Jewish theater producer and composer of Jewish theater music . He worked in Poland , Ukraine and the United States .
Life
In the course of the 1920s he emigrated to the USA . However , he was only given a personal passport from the Russian authorities . Since a friend changed the name Ilya to Familya (family), his family could now come along. He continued his work in Yiddish theaters in America.
