Ilir Ferra
Ilir Ferra (* 1974 in Durrës , Albania ) is an Austrian writer and translator .
Life
Ilir Ferra was born in 1974 in Durrës , Albania . Since 1991 he has lived and worked in Vienna . He works as an author, translator and interpreter. Ilir Ferra studied translation studies for the languages English and Italian at the University of Vienna . His prose has been awarded various prizes, such as B. with the Adelbert-von-Chamisso-Förderpreis (2012) for his debut novel Rauchschatten .
