Ilse Hornung (born April 10, 1908 ; † March 1994 in Vienna ) was an Austrian figure skater who started in a single run .
Hornung finished second behind her compatriot Fritzi Burger at the first European championship in Vienna in 1930 , in which there was a separate women's competition, making her the first ever female vice European champion. In her only participation in the World Cup in 1929 in Budapest , she finished fourth behind Sonja Henie and her two national competitors Fritzi Burger and Melitta Brunner . She finished her only Olympic Games in 1928 in St. Moritz in eighth place.
