The Imo River is a 150 miles long river in Nigeria .
course
The river has its source about 10 km west of Okigwi . From here it initially flows in a southerly direction. At Obigbo the river turns its course to the east and at Ohanku it turns again to the south. The Imo River flows into the Atlantic at Ikot Abasi . The river meanders for long stretches.
