Imperial College Union is the student body of Imperial College London . It operates student bars in the Albertopolis area and is home to many so-called "societies" (literally: "societies"). There, students with common interests can organize, exchange ideas and organize events and parties. The agency is located in the north wing of the Beit Quadrangle on Prince Consort Road .

organization

The representation is organized democratically. A number of representatives who sit in so-called "Union committees" are determined in elections. These manage funds and represent the student body inside and outside the university. Currently (2014) the Union has around 15,000 members.
