from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Inšušinak-sunkir-nappipir ( Elamite ; in Akkadian : Inschuschinak-shar -ilani) was an Elamite king who lived in the period from approx. 1500-1350 BC. Ruled. He is mainly known from a series of inscribed bricks from Susa , on which he reports that he had renovated the temple by his Sukkalmah predecessor Tepti-halki . The Inšušinak Temple, made of mud bricks, collapsed and was rebuilt by him using fired bricks. Inšušinak-sunkir-nappipir just called himself 'King of Susa'.
