The street “In Bethanien” is located at the former Franciscan monastery, which was consecrated in 1470 in the name of Maria von Bethanien . The monastery church was consecrated as St. Mary's Church on May 1, 1832. On November 15, 1921, the city council decided to expand the road. The parish paid 22,350 marks of the expansion costs of 54,700 marks. In addition, she had to give the city the property facing the street free of charge.
