In De Gloria was a Flemish comedy series created by Jan Eelen , which was broadcast on the Belgian television channel Canvas from 2000 to 2002 .
Boemerang sketch
A shortened version of the program Boemerang , in which the presenter Erik Hartman (played by Tom Van Dyck ) had a hysterical fit of laughter due to the high voice of his recently operated studio guest, gained great popularity on the Internet . In the full broadcast you can see the presenter in a flashback about this laughing fit that ruined his television career. Then you can see him sitting in a radio studio moderating a song.
Because of its authentic representation, the sketch is often mistaken for a real talk show and was presented as such on the German program RTL Exclusiv .
