The Indian Lake State Park is a state park in Michigan and is located on the southern shore of Indian Lake about 6.5 km to the west of Manistique in Schoolcraft County .
The Indian Lake is the fourth largest lake in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
The Palms Book State Park , the Hiawatha National Forest and the Lake Superior State Forest are also in close proximity . All of these recreation areas offer various opportunities to pass the time, such as hunting, fishing, canoeing, hiking, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing or just collecting berries, whatever the season.
The park consists of two areas which are separated by about 3 miles by Indian Lake. Camping facilities in both parts are also available. A beach as well as boat ramps are available.
