IndieFlix is an independent film - film recycling - and streaming service based in Seattle.
IndieFlix was founded in 2005 by filmmakers Scilla Andreen and Gian Carlo Scandiuzzi. The portfolio currently includes 8,000 films and live streams from 2,000 film festivals worldwide, including SXSW , Sundance , Cannes and Slamdance . IndieFlix is available in 85 countries. The films are not subject to the MPAA's age recommendation rating . The monthly member price is US $ 5. Filmmakers are remunerated through the "Royalty Pool Minutes" system with 70% pro-rated per minute of their own film viewed.
