description

An Indian rail armor usually consists of chain armor that is reinforced with steel rails. The rings of chain armor are attached to a leather undergarment. The leather garment serves to protect the clothing or the skin lying under the chain mail from the friction caused by the metal links, but also to regulate the temperature of the human body. The chain armor is reinforced on the sensitive parts of the body, lower abdomen, back and chest area, with metal rails that are connected to the chain fabric. The versions of this armor vary in the number of metal rails and their design, depending on the version more or less of these rails are attached.
