Industrial mechanic

The profession of industrial mechanic is a recognized training profession introduced in Germany on August 1, 1987 . The 3½-year in-company training is completed with an extended final examination at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry .

The Mono profession is now made for a reorganization 2004 in disciplines in application areas, for example in the field of application maintenance. Between 1937 and 1987 there were apprenticeships as industrial mechanic and machine fitter, which were replaced on August 1, 1987 by the profession of industrial mechanic, among other things. The areas of application of the industrial mechanic range from locksmith work to work as a skilled worker with CNC machines or the production of individual items to setting up machines in production.
