The information on unemployment law and social assistance law ( info also ) is a legal journal devoted to the law of unemployment insurance , basic security for jobseekers and social assistance including the respective procedural and procedural law.

The journal contains articles, judgments - including those of the lower courts and sometimes with comments - as well as overview articles on the development of case law. It also brings book reviews and a magazine show.

The contributions are aimed primarily at social law practitioners in the social authorities, at the courts and in the legal profession. But they are also of interest to science.

The group of editors includes Uwe Berlit, Udo Geiger, Helga Spindler, Ulrich Stascheid, Peter Trenk-Hinterberger and Ute Winkler. The editing is with Horst Steinmeyer and Uwe Berlit.

The magazine has been published since 1983. It was originally published by the social work and social pedagogy departments of the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences . Individual issues appeared in the first two years. The magazine has been published regularly since 1985. It is published by Nomos Verlag , Baden-Baden, with six issues per year.

In the online archive of the journal, individual older articles are freely available retrospectively up to the year of publication 2003. The full text of the journal can be used via the Beck Online and Nomos Online databases .

The printed edition is 3,100 copies.
