Peter Trenk-Hinterberger

Peter Trenk-Hinterberger (born September 29, 1943 in Znaim , Reichsgau Niederdonau ) is a German lawyer , legal scholar and full university professor . Until his retirement, he held the chair for labor and social law at the Otto Friedrich University in Bamberg . His main research and work focus is on social law , in particular social assistance and disability law .

Life

Trenk-Hinterberger studied law at the Universities of Heidelberg and Marburg. In 1976 the doctorate to Dr. jur. at the Philipps University of Marburg , the title of the dissertation was International Tenancy Law . This was followed by the second state law examination and habilitation. From 1980 to 1996 he was a university professor at the University of Siegen . In 1996 he was offered a full professorship at the University of Bamberg, where he held the chair for labor and social law until his retirement on October 1, 2008.

Since it was founded in 2002, he has also been one of the supervising professors of the Graduate School Markets and Social Spaces in Europe at the University of Bamberg , which is funded by the DFG .
