Info disc

Infodisc Technology Co. Ltd. is a blank CD and DVD manufacturer headquartered in the Zhonghe District of New Taipei City , Taiwan . The company was founded in 1995 and employs around 400 people.

The blanks are marketed under different names, u. aib @ se (Plus), Intenso, Medianca, Medion, MIRRORPlatinum, Philips, Replika and SK.

In 1999 the German branch of the company was completely taken over by Michael Gutowski as part of a management buy-out. The Infodisc group consisted of the DVD and Blu-ray pressing plant Infodisc Technology GmbH in Renchen and only had the name in common with the former Taiwanese mother. In 2009 the Infodisc group was expanded with the establishment of Infopictures GmbH.

Both Infopictures GmbH and Infodisc Technology GmbH no longer exist as companies due to insolvency.

The former company should not be confused with the South Korean manufacturer Infodisc Technology (now New Star Digital Co., Ltd. ) based in Pyeongtaek , which also produces CDs, DVDs, CD-Rs and DVD-Rs.
